How I actually made my cash dollars on pokerstars.

So, without being able to deposit money in Pokerstars. I decided it would be best to use my remaining FPP's that I had left on my account to join the 70FPP entries into the Sunday Hundred Grand to get my first few dollars.

If I won a seat, I still couldn't use the money for cash games because they were T$, I would play in a tournament and try to cash.

I played 4 and lost them all. Then I finally made it to the final two in the sat, with about a 6-1 chip deficit and played some solid poker to take it down. I then entered the Sunday Hundred Grand and ended up cashing for about $11 dollars.

I know it might have been considered "cheating" to use FPP's to get my first few dollars, but I think I have payed my dues.

I have actually turned 0 dollars into about 300 and to 0 again.
I won those 10000 player freerolls into a satelite of about 3000 people who won those freerolls to win a whooping 8 dollars ending up in 7th place. Boy it felt good back then. I was young, ready to learn, and made 8 dollars.

With about $11 dollars to my poker name, I decide to start at the cash games. I don't have enough bankroll for the 0.01c/0.02c games on Stars, but I will make an exception to the rule, since I have no choice, since it is the lowest cash game available.

A cheater AND a liar:)

Just teasing ya. Good luck with it. I built my micro roll from a freeroll final table ($1) and turned it into $300+ over the course of 2-3 years. This was back when I knew very little about poker or tilt control. I'm also a sucker for risking money in the pursue of fun (tournaments) and knowledge (learning stud hi/lo, razz, etc...
Still, I didn't go broke and quickly learned the value of bankroll management. This year I turned my roll of $40 into close to $400 and my longterm goal is to continue moving up three rugs on the sng ladder every year until I reach the $50 level. Then, who knows, quit my day job? My advice is to make sure your focus is always on your play, NOT your results (monies/bad beats, etc). Anyway, good luck.
