I thought I had things figured out, I thought I could bulldoze tables and continue to win at 22BB/100 hands, but boy was I wrong.
I lost a little over 5 buyins, I was down to $220, then back up to $247, then back down to 209.
I played a lot of hands very poorly, being too aggressive even when people show resistance.
Well at least, now I can focus on my projects, I have like 5 projects to do, so I won't be playing much poker until the holidays.
Playing tilted is not fun.

A Revelation
Things have been going pretty smoothly at $0.05/$0.10 6-Max NL tables. I've been beating the game pretty well at about 18BB/100 hands through about 3000 hands.
I always took a tight aggressive (TAG) approach to my NL tourney game, but after reading forums, reading blogs, watching FREE Cardrunner videos (cannot afford a subscription yet) on Cardplayer, I knew that a loose aggressive (LAG) approach is the winning formula for 6-max NL games.
Why tinker with my winning approach? Why did Tiger Wood change up his swing twice even when he was the best player in the game?
Answer: To get better.
By no means am I saying I am the best poker player in the world or even remotely close to being a good player. In my quest to a million bucks, I am going to learn things about my game that only practice at the tables will improve. I did not have to incorporate this style into my game at the penny/2penny games or 2penny/nickel because playing ABC poker is the winning formula.
I though playing LAG was calling more hands and seeing more flops but oh was I so wrong. I still managed to make good money by outplaying my opponents after the flop but I was doing it wrong. I was too loose without enough aggressiveness.
So, I was playing at some tables when I thought it would be fun to raise almost every hand. I raised/reraised many pots and took down lots of small pots and lost a lot of small pots, but when I finally had a hand, I get people calling me down with all sorts of ridiculous hands. For example:
Gotta love it when they are almost drawing dead.
Hand #1
Hand #2
I especially love this last one, I mean, my aggressive play really got to him.
Hand #3
I love this new style of play, I have increased to almost 22BB/100 hands through about 4000 hands. Thats about a 4BB/100 jump through 1000 more hands from my 3000. This new style is very volatile and if played wrong can cost a lot of chips. I still have some kinks to work out of my game, but I think I have adapted greatly and can officially say I'm crushing the games now. I will probably have to play another 10K hands at this level before I reach my goal of $625 dollars and move up to the $0.10/$0.25 NL games.
This style of playing has made poker more fun and profitable.

No Tilt, Just Winning
I have been playing pretty well at the $0.05/$0.10 NL-6 Max Games
Normally I would go on tilt after a couple of these type hands.
I kind of felt he had aces but what are you gonna do in this hand. I have no problem going with this hand as he could have had a large range of hands beat, pretty much everything except aces. LOL.

Losing two of these types of hand is really tough to start a session, but I am getting a lot better with my tilt control and ended up winning for the session.
I'm playing really well and just hope I have some time to put in a few more hands.
